Bad Bunny has been a huge influence in the fashion community since the release of his debut album “X 100PRE” in 2018, and he has only become more popular since the release of his most recent album “Un Verano Sin Ti”.
He made waves in the fashion industry by breaking gender norms in his ad with Jacquemus. He was styled in a bubblegum pink two piece dress, baby blue heels, and tube socks, a very eclectic look, but right on point for both the prospering Latinx artist and the up and coming French fashion brand.

This look from Jacquemus is not the first time the Latin trap singer experimented with gender fluid dressing. During his performance on Feb 28, 2022, on The Tonight Show he wore a skirt with an oversized jacket, and black combat boots.

In addition to crossing gender lines, the fashion-forward artist takes basic pieces such as a trench coat and pairs it with an unexpected item like pointed toe sneakers to create something fresh and relevant.

One of his most popular looks from 2022 was at the Met Gala. The look was designed by Riccardo Tisci, Chief Creative Officer at Burberry. Bad Bunny told Vogue that he researched what people wore in Puerto Rico during the Gilded Age and with Tisci’s help, they mixed women’s and men’s styles to create the look.
